A New Sponsor

To this point I have only really had on sponsor for the car. My friend who runs Varner Grafix helps me with welding and as a result has been my defacto sponsor, but as of today I have another one. BoatersBasement who sell all sorts of boating supplies and marine electronics, as well as actually offereing free blogs to those in the boating community, have come on board. Every little helps pay for entrance fees and cars so if you want your business name to appear on my car for a race or the season do get in touch.

The Car Hunt

Well winter has finally arived in Michigan so that means there is no racing to indulge myself in. The Citation sits in the driveway under a blue tarp covered in snow but with only one car in any state of preparedness the hunt is on for new cars. Well less than new cars.

I always keep my eyes open for what people have beside the road and what shows up at auctions or in the local paper classifieds but some of my best luck finding cars has been online. Ebay and Miedema Auctions have been lucky in the past and Craig's List and certain local Yahoo Groups keep offering promise, but if you know of anything lying around in your driveway, or your neighbors, that you need gone do let me know.
